Why this list is short
Most AI girlfriend apps list "trans" or "transgender" as a single character option buried somewhere in the character creator, alongside dozens of other tags. Three platforms in the AI companion category have built dedicated trans setup pages: OurDream.ai, Candy.ai, and Lovescape. Those three are the focus of this guide. The others either bury trans options under generic character creation, or don't surface them at all.
I tested all three from an Aussie IP on 28 April 2026 by following the CrakRevenue trans-specific tracking links, the same links a real user would click coming from any AU traffic source pointed at trans content. Screenshots and final URLs are kept in the site repo at screenshots/trans-lp/.
1. OurDream.ai (the cleanest AU experience)
What loads from an Aussie IP: The trans tracking link drops you directly into ourdream.ai/create with the gender flag set to trans. There's no intermediate page, no age gate, and the character creator is pre-populated with trans-relevant character options on first paint. Page title is "Create AI Trans, Design Your Perfect Companion".
Why it's the AU pick: OurDream's flat-rate subscription includes unlimited chat, image generation, and video generation in one bill, which matters more for trans-focused users than for the average AI girlfriend customer because character iteration is part of the appeal. Most platforms make you pay per image or per token. OurDream just lets you keep generating.
AUD pricing: Around AU$15.50 a month on the annual plan, AU$23 a month on monthly billing. Charged in USD, converted by your card issuer. See the full OurDream.ai review for plan breakdowns and what each tier includes.
The honest catch: OurDream's character art is competent but not class-leading. If you've used Candy.ai or Promptchan you'll recognise the difference. The trade-off is OurDream removes the friction and lets you generate freely, while Candy gates everything behind credit allowances.
Visit OurDream.ai (trans creator) →2. Candy.ai (most recognised brand)
What loads from an Aussie IP: The trans tracking link routes through a CrakRevenue intermediary at onlybestai.com/candyai-trans before passing through to Candy.ai. It's a comparison-style prelander, not a direct hit on Candy. The page renders fine, no geo-block.
Why it's worth a look: Candy.ai is the most recognised name in this category globally, has native iOS and Android apps (which OurDream and Lovescape don't), and supports trans characters via the standard character creator once you sign up. The voice quality is the best in category if voice interaction matters to you.
AUD pricing: Roughly AU$23 a month on monthly billing or AU$15.50 a month on annual. Same as OurDream. Charged in USD. Image generation uses a credit system that runs out faster than most users expect, an ongoing complaint about the platform that applies to trans content the same way it applies to anything else. Full pricing in the Candy.ai review.
The honest catch: The prelander step adds friction. You're clicking through one extra page before reaching the actual platform. If you'd rather skip it, going to candy.ai directly and selecting trans options in the character creator gets you to the same place.
Visit Candy.ai (trans entry) →3. Lovescape (third option)
What loads from an Aussie IP: Lovescape's trans tracking link lands directly on lovescape.com/create-ai-trans-girlfriend/style, the English-locale trans creator. No German prefix, no language switch needed. (An older affiliate link did route to the German locale; the current direct trans link is clean.)
Why it's on the list: Lovescape has appeared in AI search answer boxes for trans-AI-companion queries, suggesting Google surfaces it for this intent specifically. The Premium and Creative PRO tiers include monthly chip allowances (600 and 3,000 respectively), and the platform supports detailed character customisation.
AUD pricing: See the Lovescape review for full plan details, AUD-converted pricing, and chip top-up tables.
The honest catch: Lovescape's chip-based credit model means heavy image generation chews through monthly allowances quickly, the same complaint Candy.ai gets. If you're going to iterate hard on character art, OurDream's flat-rate unlimited generation is the better fit.

What makes a platform "trans-capable" for this list
Three things had to be true for a platform to make this guide:
- Dedicated trans entry point. Either a CrakRevenue trans-specific tracking link, or a dedicated trans landing page on the platform itself. A character creator that accepts "trans" as a tag among hundreds of others is not the same thing as the platform actually building for trans users.
- Loads from an Australian IP without geo-block. Tested on 28 April 2026. None showed AU-specific blocking.
- Genuine character variety, not lazy gender-swap. All three platforms generate trans characters that read as designed for the category, not as the same character art with token tweaks.
The three on this list cleared all three bars. Other AI companion platforms in the broader category either don't surface trans options publicly, or only support them through deep customisation menus that require existing platform familiarity to even find.
How I tested
Each of the three trans tracking links from CrakRevenue was visited from an Aussie IP using Playwright headless Chromium, en-AU locale, AEST timezone, geolocation set to country Victoria, viewport 1440x900. Each page was screenshotted, the final URL captured after redirects, and the trans-specific entry experience documented. The audit script is at scripts/trans_lp_check.py in the site repo. Raw output is at research/trans-lp-check-2026-04-28.md.
Pricing data is converted from each platform's USD published rates using approximately AU$1.55 per USD. Verify current pricing on each platform before committing, since rates can shift and CrakRevenue tracking links sometimes route to different plan presentations.
